Meet Mrs. Cain

Hi! I'm Mrs. Cain, and Kindergarten is my favorite thing!

I thought I’d take this opportunity to share a little bit about ME!

My “real” name is Kile (pronounced just like the boy’s name). I love coffee, reading, and decorating my house & classroom! I am married to a fellow teacher, Brent, who teaches resource at the Intermediate School. We have two daughters: Reagan, who will be a 6^th grader, Reese, who will be in 2^nd grade, and a son, Greyson, a soon-to-be fourth grader. We live here in Crete with two yappy dogs, Finnegan and Willa. In our free time, we like to play games, and make each other laugh!

I grew up in Ogallala, NE and attended college at UNL! I have a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Spanish. I’m currently working on my master’s degree at Doane.

This will be my 12^th year teaching! I’m lucky to have taught here in Crete for my whole career! I have spent the last seven years teaching Kindergarten, and I taught 1^st grade before that.

In my classroom I hope to instill in my students a love of learning, the feeling of pride that comes from working hard at something, and a sense of wonder about the world around them!
