These teacher artifacts are examples of how other educators utilize more equitable grading practices. They are not considered perfect exemplars, but instead are examples that reflect the teachers' thinking as they pursued more equitable grading. Review these artifacts with humility and grace: we don't know the teacher's context, their relationships with students, or their pressures and priorities; we do know that they took a risk to move one step forward on their journey toward making their grades more equitable. We were given permisison by these educators to share their artifacts in support of other educators. Please use them as a support to further your own growth and learning. If you'd like to share your own artifacts with us we would be delighted! Please send submissions to coaching@crescendoedgroup.org.
You can also share them with your coach in your next coaching session.
