Dear Parent,
Greetings,
We are happy to inform you about the commencement of the VOLUNTARY After-School Activity Programme — the 'Day Boarding Programme' (DBP) — for TERM-2 of the Academic Year 2025-26. Kindly go through the attached day boarding brochure for your reference.
The TERM-2 day boarding activities will commence on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025, and will continue until Thursday, February 19th, 2026. The first phase of TERM-2 day boarding will commence on Tuesday, October 28th, and will run until Thursday, November 27, 2025. The second phase will run from January 27th, 2026, until Thursday, February 19th, 2026.
This is an optional program offered twice a week—every Tuesday and Thursday—from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
The main objective of this program is to engage students in a variety of worthwhile sports and co-scholastic activities to further develop their skills in a structured and safe environment.
Please encourage your child to participate in these activities, as this will help them develop confidence, social skills, sportsmanship, fair play, and overall discipline.
PLEASE NOTE
The Day Boarding program is only for students in Grades 4 to 8, and participation in the Day Boarding activity is optional for students (i.e., not mandatory).
Each activity can accommodate only a specified number of students (the exact numbers are listed on the next page when you select each activity); students will be allotted activities on a first-come, first-served basis.
All participating students are expected to attend the day boarding in proper sports attire, kit, and shoes (for sporting activities).
Please note: Students attending the day boarding must come to school wearing the school uniform according to the timetable. They must carry extra attire that is comfortable for their allocated activities and wear it only during the day boarding activities.
Students who use the school bus facility will board the bus by 3:55 p.m., and buses will depart at 4:05 p.m. on these days. Parents of students using their own transport must pick up their child by 3:50 p.m. from EXIT-9 ONLY (Kindergarten Exit).
Please fill out the form and provide your child's activity preferences for better allocation.
The final allocation of activities will be shared via email to the parents' email address registered with the school on Friday, October 24, 2025. A notification will also be sent through the class WhatsApp groups.
Strictly no change of activities will be entertained after the allotment for the day boarding program has been made.
The school cafeteria will be open for the purchase of light snacks.
No day boarding activity will be held during PR/Half Yearly examinations, vacations, national holidays, or school special events. Prior information regarding these dates will be shared with all registered students. Please regularly check the school portal and class WhatsApp group.
The day boarding activities are free of charge.Â
However, the below charges will be added to the tuition fee for students participating in the Day Boarding activities mentioned below:Â
JUDO or TAEKWONDO – AED 250 for the uniform.
KARATE – AED 200 for the uniform.
ARCHERY – AED 75 for the arm guard and finger tapes.
IMPORTANT NOTES
This program cannot be taken on selective days. Once registered, the child must mandatorily participate and be present on all day boarding days (Tuesday & Thursday).
If your child is present for regular school on a Tuesday or Thursday, then they must stay back for the day boarding (absence from day boarding only is not permitted).
Please Note: If a student has opted for Day Boarding and is a regular user of the school bus transportation, and if for any reason your child does not wish to participate in the Day Boarding activity on a particular day, they cannot use the 2:10 p.m. school bus service, as seats would have been allocated for the 4:00 p.m. bus route. In this case, you must send a communication to the school reception (through the portal) latest by 10:00 a.m. and make arrangements to pick up your child between 2:10 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. from the school.
All activities will be allotted as per the form. Administrative arrangements will be made, and bus routes will be planned, as soon as we receive the registrations.
Please use different email IDs (student mail IDs) when registering siblings for day boarding.
Please Note: After the registration for TERM-2 Day Boarding is CLOSED, requests for admission will not be permitted.Â
Although utmost care is taken for the safety of the children, the coaches/teachers, the school, or the management will not be responsible for any mishap or injury to the students while participating.
After reading the above guidelines, please proceed to selecting the activities by clicking the link below. The last day to submit this form is Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
