We care for you too.. Resources for survivors and those seeking to support survivors

Gender Based Violence (GBV) brings forth great suffering and trauma to those experiencing the abuse. It also often creates memories for witnesses, bystanders and family members; we all would like to forget. This all contributes to the shame, stigma, silence and isolation of survivors. Thank you for being willing to take a step forward, to rip off the band-aid, to be part of this uncomfortable conversation, learning and subsequently processing to take action.

While we note that the aim of this campaign is to create awareness and advocacy, we also acknowledge that some among us might already be looking for services to support themselves and others who are experiencing abuse. Below are links to GBV service providers and support services in The US and Canada. We encourage you to skim through this guide before taking any GBV response related action to ensure you can safely and discreetly refer potential survivors in a manner that does not expose them to more harm.
