About me

Hi! I'm Delaina Chalfant and I will be teaching 5th grade math this year! I am very passionate about teaching math and I am really looking forward to this school year!

I recieved my BS in Elementary Education with a concentration in STEM and a minor in Spanish for NC State University.

I've been married to for two years to Jonathan and I'm a pet mom to my black cat, Gabbi, and Golden Retriever, Hank. I've lived in Havelock for two years now and previously lived in Raleigh and grew up in Roxboro,NC.

I enjoy being outdoors. Some of my favorite activities are hiking, kayaking, and going to the beach. I also enjoy cooking, gardening and decorating.
