I am originally from Buffalo Grove, Il but have lived in Eastern NC most of my life. I actually attended WJG from 3rd through 5h grade! I graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education (k-6) with a reading concentration (k-12).

This is my eleventh year teaching at WJG. In those 10 years have taught second, forth, and first grade. Our school is one awesome family and I can't imagine working anywhere else! 

When I'm not at school, I love spending time with my family (especially my nephew Lucas) and friends doing fun things like attending concerts or visiting the beach.
