Week of 3/9

We had a great time celebrating Read Across America last week. We started our Tournament of Books and will find out the first book who will move on to the Sweet 6. This week we are finishing up some of our second trimester assessments. Our trimester comes to a close on Friday. We continue to practice adding two digit to one digit numbers to 100. We have learned many strategies to solve these problems. In reading we are still reading books across genres and are learning more about our topics every day. In Social Studies we have been learning about goods and services, community helpers and government.
