Treble & Tenor/Bass Chorus

Grades 9, 10, 11, and 12

Half-Year or Full-Year Course

These courses provides all students with the opportunity of participating in the school’s choir program.  Students with soprano or alto voices should enroll in Treble Chorus and students with tenor, bass, or changing voices should enroll in Tenor/Bass Chorus.  Students will focus on the development of vocal skills and learn basic musicianship understanding through ear training and notational skills.  Students will be required to apply these skills through the preparation and performance of repertoire for both the school and the community.  No prior experience is necessary.   Students may take consecutive semesters of these course as the repertoire will change with each new semester.  Treble Chorus or Tenor/Bass Chorus is a prerequisite for audition for entrance into Concert Choir.  Performance is a course requirement.
