Findings

I have a diverse class. Three students are identified as gifted, three students have IEP goals for mathematics, and two more are currently being tested to see if they qualify for math SPED services. Nine students tested at 3rd grade abilities or below in math at the beginning of the year on the iReady benchmark test.  Almost half of my students are Black (7), with 10 white students, 2 students of mixed race, and 2 Hispanic/Latin@ students. My school has a high population of high-mobility student families - one student moved to my school's district over the summer, four have joined my class since the school year started, and two have moved out of the district.
