A staff member may be available to accompany students from your Elementary or Upper School to CRLS after school, either walking or via MBTA bus. If this would be helpful for you, talk with your school's Rainbow Club or GSA advisor. Transportation home is up to you and your family. We encourage you to arrange to carpool, walk, or take the T with your friends.
Note: Permission slips are required for 6th-8th (print slip here) and 3rd-5th (see your Rainbow Club advisor)!
A water bottle... and anything else that will make you feel your beautiful Pride-ful self!
Middle School students: YES, so long as you bring a signed permission slip!
CRLS students: YES, no permission slip needed!
PreK-5th students: YES, if your family brings you!
*If you came in the past, you may remember signing up for workshops. No need to sign up in advance this time!
We're working to improve our accessibility!
Everything is on the first floor of the Arts Building (which has a ramp), or outdoors.
You'll be able to access a Sensory-Friendly Space 4:30-5:15, where you can relax and make some art if you choose.
We'll have fidgets available for those who find them helpful while watching performances.
We have vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options for dinner.
We're including student-created content warnings for the books we're giving away (especially the YA ones), to help you decide which books are right for you. (All of our books are appropriate for middle and/or high school students.)
This event is primarily for young people in grades 3-12. Adults are welcome to join us for the performances (3:45-4:30), and/or to bring their children to storytime (5:15-5:45).
Otherwise, we'd love to put you to work! CPS staff who want to help, please let us know.
For a more family-oriented event, please come to City of Cambridge Pride on Sun., June 8!
