FAQ

How will I get there and home if I don't go to CRLS?

A staff member may be available to accompany students from your Upper School to CRLS after school, either walking or via MBTA bus. If this would be helpful for you, talk with your school's GSA advisor. Transportation home is up to you and your family. We encourage you to arrange to carpool, walk, or take the T with your friends.

What should I bring?

A water bottle, a mask, a pencil... and anything else that will make you feel your beautiful Pride-ful self!

I didn't sign up in advance. Can I still come?

Yes! Please show up anyway! You just may have more limited workshop choices, if some are full. Upper School students, you will need to bring a permission slip or we will need to call your family at registration to make sure they know you're at an after school event.

Can my friend come who doesn't go to Cambridge Public Schools?

If they are in grades 6-12, yes! They still need to bring a signed permission slip.

What are your COVID safety policies?

We are following Cambridge Public School's COVID safety policies. All students 12+ are required to be fully vaccinated in order to attend all afterschool events, including this one. CPS staff and community partners at events such as this one are also required to be vaccinated, or test daily. Masks indoors are strongly encouraged for everyone's health. Food at the end of the event will be served outside.

The registration just says it's for students. Can I still come as an adult?

Adults are welcome to join us for the panel and for food at 6pm. Parents/caregivers are invited to family activities at 6, as well. Workshops are for grades 6-12 only.

CPS staff and community members, we'd love to put you to work! If you can volunteer for any part of the event, please fill out the Adult Volunteer Form.
