What is Best Buddies?

• Best Buddies is a club for students with and without Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)

• The purpose is to create opportunities for friendships to develop and become a more inclusive community for students with IDD

• There are over 1500 chapters in schools, colleges and communities in the United States. We are re-establishing a chapter at CRLS

• The club will hold two meetings a month for all members...one for planning and one a social event...the Leadership Team will meet weekly (this includes the planning meeting and social event)

• We are joining a movement that is dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of over 200 million people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)
