Mrs. D's GT

My name is Lindsey Duncan, and this will be my 14th year of teaching. I previously taught Kindergarten and Fourth grade in Oklahoma. Once I moved back to my hometown of Cabot, I was blessed to get a job at Northside, teaching with the team I practice taught with in college. I taught third grade for four years, and found myself back with my love of fourth graders at Southside! This year I'm excited to welcome a new bunch of GT kiddos at my childhood school of Southside Elementary!

This is my seventh year teaching at Southside. I graduated from ASU Jonesboro with my Master's Degree in Gifted Education, and I also took classes through Arkansas Tech University to complete my English as a Second Language certification. I'm excited to meet my new children so we can learn together!

My sweet son, Chael, is nine, and his little brother, Hunter, is two. I never knew how wonderful it could be to have boys, and they completely stole my heart! My favorite job is being a mommy! My husband, Barry, is a physical science teacher at CFA and a former field geologist, and he and I find our joy in raising our two boys together after meeting in 5th grade at CMSS.
