Our mission is to start up the next generation's interest in journalism. We want to create a safe space where students can feel free to express themselves through writing, art, and photography. The club will be primarily run by students, and will be entirely run for students. As well as this, we aim to put the current South Loop Scoop on the map through our newspapers. Many students do not know it exists, as it has barely been used by the school. However, by posting weekly newspapers to the South Loop Scoop website, we can gain a new student audience for the South Loop Scoop.  Journalism may not be for everyone, but if it's for you, sign up now!
