It's Fairy Tale Time!

I love this unit! We moved on to our second fair tale, The Three Billy Goats Gruff.  The kids what they learned about 3D shapes (cylinders) to help them build their bridge with sturdy and stable supports.

Up first is Goldilocks and The Three Bears!  They had to build a chair that could old at least one Goldie.  They were only given the certain supplies, this is when they learned about constraints. 

We just finished our first unit on basic sewing.  The students learned the running stitch and sewed a basic shape.  Then we learned about patterns and we all created our own unique shape and sewed and stuff that.  Check out our work!
