Students will be able to strengthen their written communication by learning to support their opinions with evidence and details and by practicing writing in different genres.

Born on February 15, 1983 in Chicago, Illinois to my mother and late father Juvenal Sr. and Gloria Sandoval.
Born and raised in the Brighton Park neighborhood. I am the third oldest (middle child) out of four children. My older and only brother is Joey (Juvenal Jr.), and two sisters Marissa, and Laura G. I am a Tia to six beautiful nieces and godmother to many.
I attended John C. Burroughs Elementary 1997, John F. Kennedy High School 2001, and Northeastern Illinois University 2011.
Graduated in May of 2011 with a teaching degree in Bilingual/Bi cultural Elementary Education with a Minor in History.
I have worked many of jobs to get where I am at today. I worked and taught at my childhood elementary school as a teacher assistant/volleyball coach, my neighborhood Target, White Sox Park, a brewery, and Instacart. Chavez is my fourth school in my teaching career. I have taught at Mildred I. Lavizzo, John C. Burroughs, Socorro Sandoval, and Cesar E. Chavez.
