About FPS 

FPS, or Future Problem Solvers allows students the opportunity to think creatively about solving a futuristic problem. Students can participate in a variety of components within FPS, but typically at Prescott our students compete within the GIPS program. Please click here to learn more about each component. 

Who is a good fit for FPS? 

Students are chosen to participate in FPS based on teacher feedback as well as IAR scores. We use this as it is an academically demanding  activity that requires students to be able to think not only critically, but creatively, about topics that are typically beyond grade level. Students also need to be able to work together as a team (or as individuals if they would rather) to complete their packet within the 2 hour time period.
