About Ms. W & Nixon's Library

Welcome to Nixon library's new site! My name is Ms. Westerberg and I am Nixon's librarian! This is my 11th year as a teacher-librarian in CPS and 8th year at Nixon! You can contact me via email at Lawesterberg@cps.edu and I will respond within 24 hours.

While we are currently learning remotely, please know that I will do my best to provide instruction and resources that will keep each student reading and engaged throughout remote learning.

In addition to reading lots of books, I love spending time with my dog (Milo, pictured), cooking, and being outdoors. I live down the street from Nixon in Logan Square. Even though we're not starting the school year together in-person, let's learn a lot and have the best possible school year ever!

¡Bienvenido al nuevo sitio de la biblioteca de Nixon! ¡Mi nombre es Sra. Westerberg y soy la bibliotecaria de Nixon! ¡Este es mi undécimo año como maestra bibliotecaria en CPS y octavo año en Nixon!

Además de leer muchos libros, me encanta pasar tiempo con mi perro (Milo, en la foto), cocinar y estar al aire libre. Vivo al final de la calle de Nixon en Logan Square. Aunque no estamos comenzando el año escolar juntos en persona, ¡aprendamos mucho y tengamos el mejor año escolar posible!
