Northside is a full inclusion school, offering core curricular classes at the Honors and Advanced Placement levels only. We are committed to supporting the needs of individuals with diagnosed disabilities. We implement Individualized Education Plans and 504 Plans regarding testing and/or classroom accommodations, and we arrange for ancillary and itinerant support services through the Office of Diverse Learning and Support Specialists.

Because special education and related services are provided at Northside, students with special education needs are encouraged to participate in the selective admissions process. Those students with diagnosed disabilities may be eligible for accommodations at school. To receive medical or academic accommodations, appropriate documentation must be submitted to the Special Services staff by the parent/guardian. Utilizing a team approach, a determination will be made regarding eligibility for accommodations and/or special education services necessary to support the student.
