Counseling Department Mission Statement:

To foster a supportive culture that promotes equitable opportunities that empower all students to become academically successful, emotionally and socially secure, confidently college-bound with the ability to reach their full potential as diverse global citizens ready to meet the challenges of an ever-changing society.

The Counseling Department at Northside provides students with a full range of services that address academic, personal, and post-secondary counseling concerns. Students are assigned a counselor who will assist them throughout their four years of high school. These experienced professional school counselors assist students in facilitating academic decision-making, preparing

for college and careers, and supporting social and emotional needs.
