A little bit about me...

Hello everyone! I'm thrilled to be starting my 27th year at Bell! It's crazy to think how fast the time has gone! Feels like it was just yesterday, walking through those big, green front doors.

Teaching has been a passion of mine since I was in the 3rd grade. Mrs. Carpenter, my teacher, was absolutely wonderful and engaging! I couldn't wait to have a classroom of my own one day. Reluctantly at times, my two younger sisters played the role of the students:) My career started in 3rd grade at a little catholic school outside of my hometown, Peoria. After two years, I moved to Chicago and happened to come across Bell. Been here ever since!

As much as I enjoy teaching, my free time is a priority. I absolutely love to travel! Greece was one of my favorite trips, along with a few others to Europe and around the US. When I'm not traveling, you can catch me playing tennis, reading a good book, exploring the different restaurants and food this great city has to offer, spending time with my incredible nieces and taking walks with my dog, Peanut! ❤️
