Science

We will use the Next Generation Science Standards-aligned Amplify curriculum in science. 

Curricular highlights include: 

•  hands-on and technology-enhanced learning experiences

• daily student discussions

• small group instruction/conferring 

• use of constructivist and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) learning approaches to provide all scholars with access to rigorous conceptual learning.

• colored pens (also used for ELA  & math)

• 1 pack of post-it notes 

Individual Supplies (per student)

• 1 pack of highlighters (assorted colors)

• 1 pencil pouch (with a zipper no boxes)

• glue sticks (3)

• scissors

• 2 packs of  sharpened #2 pencils

• 1 pack of colored pencils

We will use several texts, web-based platforms to supplement instruction and for specific assignments (quizzes/projects).
