Welcome McDowell Students and Families!

     I'm Angela Ellis, your MTSS Interventionist.  I have over 30 years in education and I am excited about this year's theme: "We will leave no crumbs".  This means through the very unique multi-tiered support system at McDowell, where all hands are on deck, ALL McDowell Students will grow to their fullest potential. 

     My mission is to ensure the success of every student by providing explicit academic support where needed.  This year will be full of fun, engaging and challenging lessons that will push every student to give their BEST, so they can be the BEST. 

As I always give my BEST, so I expect the BEST!

     However, I'm not just a teacher; I'm also a wife, mother and grandmother. I have four adult children, seven grandchildren and one very special great-granddaughter. When I'm not supporting students, I'm in my kitchen baking cookies, cakes and breads.
