Virtual Service Opportunities

Volunteer Safely

During the Covid-19 pandemic, we want all students to be able to engage in Service experiences safely. This page lists several opportunities to engage virtually in the Service strand of CAS.

Youth Service America: A resource with many different opportunities to volunteer virtually (from home). There

Transcription for the Smithsonian Institute: Become a Smithsonian Digital Volunteer and help them make historical documents and biodiversity data more accessible.

Do Something: Youth-Led Volunteer and activist opportunities

Zooniverse: Allows volunteers to contribute to research in areas, subjects, and projects that you can pick to suit your own needs. Click the link and press "Get Involved."

National Runaway Safeline: Accepts volunteers 16+; must complete training and commit to two hours weekly after training

If you know of more virtual service opportunities, please share them with srlovinggood@cps.edu. Thank you!
