Library Grant-

The Innovative Programming Grant of $2,323.42 has been awarded to the LaSalle II Library! Students in grades K–3 will listen to high-quality, culturally responsive audiobooks—across a wide range of genres such as mystery, realistic fiction, folktales, biography, poetry, and more—using Playaways and Wonderbooks. In addition, the program will incorporate a multisensory “stories on the go” experience, allowing students to enjoy audiobooks while walking on our new school trail.

This initiative highlights our library’s innovative practices by combining physical wellness, genre-based exploration, literacy engagement, and equitable access to high-interest materials—empowering students to develop strong reading identities in a fun and authentic way.
