If you cannot recall your Aspen Parent Portal password, then please navigate to aspen.cps.edu (preferably using a desktop browser) and click the "forgot password" link to reset your password. You will be asked to provide your "Login ID" and "Primary Email". In most cases, your email address will serve as both your "Login ID" and "Primary Email" unless you have updated your communications email address since creating the account. Once you have entered that information, you will be prompted to answer a security question. After providing the answer to that question, you will then receive an email with a temporary password and instructions on how to reset your password.
If you have not yet completed the Aspen Parent Portal setup, then please search your inbox and spam folder for a message entitled "Chicago Public Schools has granted you the ability to create a Parent Portal user account in Aspen." Your one-time validation code and instructions will be provided in that message.
If you have not yet received the initial validation email, then please provide the first and last name of the Kenwood student you are requesting access to, as well as the parent/guardian email address that we have on file for you. Once you have provided this information I will generate the validation request and you will receive an email from Aspen. You may want to add the email aspen-sysadmin@myfollett.com to your address book to avoid messages going to your spam folder.
