What time should I arrive?

Attendees should arrive from 8:45-9:15 AM.

Volunteers should arrive just after 8:30 AM.

What food will be provided?

We will serve pizza for lunch! Students are also able to bring their own lunch and snacks.

Do I need to bring a laptop?

Most workshops will be located in a computer labs, so we should be able to provide most attendees with a device for workshops. However, if you have access to a CPS-issued Chromebook, please bring it with you just in case!

I don't go to Jones, can I participate?

Yes! This event is for all CPS high school students (9th-12th grade).

What workshops can I attend?

All workshops are free and open to attendees regardless of their experience with computer science. For more information on the workshops, please see the itinerary.

Can I bring a friend!

Yes! The Jones Jam experience is more enjoyable with others---feel free to invite as many other CPS students as you'd like (as long as they register).
