Hola and welcome! I am very excited to continue my 7th year at James Ward and 13th year teaching Spanish! I received my bachelor's degree in Economics from Northwestern University. Upon graduation, I worked for 5 years at KPMG LLP in Chicago and Madrid, Spain. My time living in Spain, experiencing Spanish culture and customs first hand, as well as my many travels throughout Latin America were the impetus to return to school and earn a Master's Degree in teaching Spanish from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Along with Spanish, I hold an endorsement in middle school, music, bilingual-Spanish, and ESL. Prior to joining the James Ward team, I taught high school Spanish at Perspectives - Joslin Campus for six years.
