From Me to You:

"In our classrooms we strive to reach better understandings. Some things may seem "fixed" or "definite" for that moment. However, we are constantly evolving and in a state of growth. For us, growth means that what we knew before could possibly change down the line. 

It is our belief that coming to an understanding can happen best when we acknowledge what we do and do not know. When we make a conscious effort to ask questions. We may not always find answers, or even the answer we hoped for. Some times, we may only have more questions. 

We do not pretend to be the master of all things in our classrooms; we are learning just as our students are learning. We can only pose concepts; ideas and questions. It is with great hope and much grace that we ask you to join us in our shared learning. Whether you become a multi-platinum winning musician, or multi-genre music consumer, we hope you leave our classes with a deeper understanding of music in any form it takes."
