Students of the Month

112: Cristal Horta

Cristal’s kindness and educational focus show through her connection problems. She is great at asking questions and always one of the first to volunteer. She is very open, sharing both her knowledge and her insecurities. She makes everyone think more deeply about our own learning. Thank you Cristal for bringing your whole self to class every day.

113: Kevin Pieprzak

Kevin traveled halfway across the globe and still managed to make it to class, even if it meant class at night! This is just one example of how Kevin has shown dedication to his schoolwork. He is focused and often shares creative insight and deeper knowledge on a subject. Thanks Kevin for making us all smarter!

112: Michael Atko

Michael brings his intellect and humor to class daily. He stays level-headed in seemingly frustrating situations, such as discussing answers with group members and frequent computer/internet issues. Thank you Michael for keeping us laughing.

113: Abigail MonteDeOca

Abigail shows continuous compassion towards her fellow classmates. She not only listens carefully to others thoughts and opinions, but also provides feedback through questions and comments. She always brings a positive attitude to class, which spreads to others around her. Thank you Abigail for sharing your intelligence and kindness with us.

112: Camila Fregoso

Camila is always one of the first people in a meet, ready to learn. She is very focused on learning and asks questions when she needs clarification. She has maintained her joy of learning through these very challenging times and we couldn’t be more impressed. Great work Camila!

113: Ferdinand Herrera-Jaquez

Ferdinand has impressed us this year with his ability to re-prioritize learning in challenging times. He has figured what works for him with Remote Learning and has achieved success academically. He always offers good insight and support to his classmates. Thank you Ferdinand!

112: Thadeus

Thadeus has been an energetic presence during remote learning! He continuously shows respect to his classmates and teachers. He is always ready to answer questions, help out other students, and laugh at jokes. He has even taken it upon himself to begin learning Spanish to better communicate with some of his other classmates!

113: JanCarlos

JanCarlos has been hard at work this year! He has completed all assignments on time and has been a great technical problem solver. His camera did not work for the first week of school, but that did not stop him from participating! He fixed the problem on his own, and we have enjoyed seeing his smiling face ever since.
