8th graders created beautiful pieces of artwork resembling tiled mosaics with Google Drawings. After selecting a photo to base their work on, they used the Polyline tool to create small "tiles" matching the shape and color of their photos. When the piece was finished, they deleted their original photo and were left with these incredible images.
8th graders created digital silhouettes of an activity that they love doing in this Google Drawings project. After using the curve tool to create a silhouette of their activity, they added a cool background with a gradient effect. The end results look amazing. Well done, 8th graders!
8th Graders learned a lot about spreadsheets as they created some beautiful Mondrian-inspired modern artwork by resizing and merging cells and then adding color. So cool!
8th Graders decorated Virtual Lockers in Google Slides showing their "favorites." Each day, we look forward to a few students presenting their lockers to the class, explaining the different items they used to decorate their locker with, helping us all get to know each other better.
