Courtenay will be using ClassDojo this year as our primary communication tool. It will be the easiest way to stay connected with your classroom teachers and staff. You can also stay connected with everything else that is going on in the school.

Google Classroom will be the primary launchpad for all assignments, discussions, and homework for students in CPS. Once logged into your CPS google account, your child will have to get connected to your teacher's online classrooms.

Downloading apps or signing in with your Apple ID is strictly prohibited. All apps will be managed by the school. If an app is missing, please restart the device (hold down top sleep button for a 5 seconds, and then on the screen slide the bar over to power off), power the device back on, and make sure the device is connected to Wifi. The app(s) should appear within the hour.
If the app(s) still do not appear, please let your child's teacher know and provide the serial number of the device.
(Serial number can be found by going to SETTINGS > GENERAL > ABOUT)
With this feature you are able to lock the user to a single app so that he/she will not go to another app.
If you are having issues logging into a Google classroom, please follow the steps in the video below. If you have followed these steps and still cannot get in please contact your child's homeroom teacher.
This feature allows you to set time limits on using the iPad.

Seesaw is another platform for younger aged students to post work, discussions, and homework. Your child's homeroom teacher will reach out to you if they plan to use this platform as well.
