Desmos Math Curriculum

We will use the Desmos math curriculum, which is based on Illustrative Mathematics. Each lesson consists of a warm up (do now), 1-2 learning activities, a synthesis, and cool down (exit ticket). Students will learn both online and using paper/pencil, individually and with partners or small groups.

Grading Policy

Mastery of 8th Grade Math Standards

40% Exams (Desmos Unit tests, ALEKS Knowledge Checks)

25 % Quizzes (Desmos Unit quizzes, iReady Assessments)

25% Class Assignments (Desmos Lessons and Practice Problems)

10% Technology (ALEKS Topics, iReady Lessons)
