Class Description

Welcome to 4th grade! In this class you will have reading, writing and social studies.

Reading: We will read a variety of genres including fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. In reading we'll discuss texts, analyze characters, make connections, ask questions, identify key themes and learn new vocabulary. We will read many great novels this year!

Writing: We will write many genres, including personal narratives, realistic fiction, fantasy, biographies, historical fiction, informative texts on historic events and poetry. By the end of this year, you'll love writing as much as I do!
