We are very excited to get to know your child as a friend and a learner. All summer long, the teachers have been making plans for our time together. We will learn about ourselves, our families, our friends and the world. We will learn many, many things that help us become strong readers, mathemeticians, scientists and artists.

About Ms. Morozink
I am delighted to be part of the Belding community. This is my 11th year teaching in the primary grades. I never get tired of watching students learn new things about their world, gain confidence in themselves, and make connections with each other. It is a joy to help the little ones grow and learn every day. I graduated with my B.A. in Elementary Education and a minor in Art. I also have my M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction with specializations in ESL and reading from National Louis University. I have a passion for literacy and can't wait to read some of my favorite books with my students this year.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends listening to music, trying new restaurants, and cooking lots of yummy things! You can also find me riding my bike all around Chicago and working in my garden.
I'm so excited for a great year together filled with joy, curiosity, and discovery!

About Mrs. Ruiz
I am so excited to meet you! She teaching kindergarten since 2014! I am a Golden Apple Scholar. I have a B.A. in elementary education and endorsements in ESL and bilingual education. I am also a certified reading specialist with an M.A. in reading education. I am passionate about teaching reading and want students to leave my class with a love of literature!
When not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter.
I am looking forward to working with you! We are going to have a great year together!
About Mrs. Born
Mrs. Born is absolutely thrilled to return to Belding to teach kindergarten this year. She’s passionate about building a classroom community where kindness is celebrated, conversation is encouraged, and learning is joyful.
Teaching is her second career. She spent a few years in Corporate America before getting her dream job of being an early elementary teacher! She has her Masters in Early Childhood Education from National Louis University.
When she’s not teaching, she enjoys playing pickleball, baking sweet treats, riding her bike, and exploring Chicago neighborhoods!
She is excited to partner with all the families that will be a part of Room 106!
