Brooks College Prep is a nationally-ranked, exceptional school that offers an unparalleled learning environment for students across Chicago's greater South Side. We are a Chicago public high school, and our admissions process is as follows:

• For students that are rising 7th, 8th, or 9th graders, you can apply between September and December on go.cps.edu. The central Go CPS application is the ONLY way to apply for these grade bands at Brooks, and we cannot accept applications after the deadline has passed. All decisions for admissions at these grade bands are conducted centrally.

• For students that are rising 10th, 11th, or 12th graders, you can apply as a Brooks transfer student via the link on this website in June for admission the fall of that same year. Brooks does not admit mid-year transfers. Transfer students are asked to have maintained a 3.5 GPA and some involvement in either extracurriculars or athletics at their school of origin. Applicants will also submit transcripts and an essay.
