The dung beetle experiments are interesting and not that difficult! Can you figure out the independent and the dependent variable???

When my husband and I would visit Kruger National Park in South Africa, we could watch a herd of Cape Buffalo go by, dropping a trail of dung. Half an hour later, the hoof prints were still there, but the fresh dung would be gone, courtesy of the dung beetles who pushing backwards as they roll the ball of dung off to bury it and lay an eggs in it.
