Changing Perspectives offers resources and materials for two distinct curricula: PreK-12 Social-Emotional Learning and K-12 Disability Awareness & Inclusion. An annual subscription grants access to 1,000+ resources, including lesson plans, book lists, book and video discussions, reflection activities, educator resources, family newsletters, and more.
Family workshops support schools in extending student learning opportunities beyond their campuses. Customized to your learning community’s unique character and goals, these 60-90-minute workshops are developed collaboratively with your school leadership team during a 30-minute planning call and then facilitated by a Changing Perspectives coach onsite or online.
Our professional development workshops are designed to engage educators in dialogue and learning about essential topics related to SEL, disability awareness, and inclusion. We offer a range of programs to elevate educators’ knowledge base, explore instructional strategies for supporting student well-being, and cultivate authentic inclusion in your learning community.
Site visits are an opportunity for Changing Perspectives to better understand and support your unique learning community. Each visit includes a 30-minute pre-visit planning call and a 30-minute post-visit call to discuss observations and next steps. Visits are structured around one or more activities, such as student focus groups, coteaching, classroom observations, needs assessments, and more.
Coaching hours allow schools to focus on specific supports throughout the learning community, from individual teachers and grade-level teams to departments and school leadership/admin teams. Goal-setting and vision planning for inclusion, teacher mentoring, classroom observations, curriculum implementation support, and more are among the many coaching options Changing Perspectives offers.
