I was born and raised in McCook, Nebraska. I went to college at Peru State College and have degrees in Elementary Education and K-12 PE and Health. My first three years of teaching was in McCook. We then moved to Cozad where I commuted to and taught in Elwood for two years. I joined Cozad Community Schools in 2017 and am honored to find this as my final destination.

I have been married to my husband, Dominic, for 10 years and we've been blessed with three children. Myles is 8 years old and full of energy. Our 4 month old daughter, Emersyn, watches over us from Heaven. And we are adding another boy to the clan in October 2020. We also have our fur baby, Molly. She's a hairy mess, but we don't know what we'd do without her! To us, families are forever, and our greatest adventure.

Obviously as a teacher I LOVE children. It's an indescribable joy to be able to work with students each day. I love getting to know them and develop relationships throughout the year. If kids were to describe me it'd be friendly, outgoing, personable, and I like to laugh!
