Instructional Design & Technology Program CSUSB
This ePortfolio is a repository of my experiences, reflections, and artifacts in the Instructional Design & Technology Master's program at California State University San Bernardino.
Driven by a passion for education and technology, I've dedicated my career to enhancing learning experiences.
Starting as an online language teacher in 2016, I quickly recognized the transformative potential of technology in education. Leveraging my MA in Applied Linguistics, I delved into research to develop innovative learning resources that catered to diverse needs. I've experimented with various digital media, collaborated with international language learning companies, and successfully transitioned to higher education.
As an instructor, I embraced the challenges of the pandemic by implementing engaging synchronous and asynchronous activities, incorporating gamification, and experimenting with hyflex learning environments.
Now, as a Credential Analyst and Advisor at Cal Poly, I continue to apply my expertise in technology and instructional design. I actively contribute to recruitment and training initiatives in my department, create instructional videos and interactive guides, and support the implementation of micro-credentials.
As an EDUCAUSE member, I strive to stay connected to the broader educational community. I'm committed to lifelong learning and actively explore the latest advancements in generative AI, personalized learning, and inclusive teaching practices.
