Bicycle Rentals - Feb 26, 2025
just spoke with Diego at Paris Bike Company. Sam is on vacation, but he assured me that they would have 4 bikes available for rent starting either September 1 or August 31 and that the cost would be dependent upon the length of the rental. The bikes are road bikes with maximal gear ratios of 50/34 on the front and 11-32 on the rear cluster. Those should be manageable and if some of the bike paths are gravel, there should be an alternative road or the gravel may be sufficiently packed for road bikes, even. It was good to speak with Diego who I met before the Brittany ride. We just need to give them firm dates and we'll go from there.
All is good. I'm looking forward to the ride and the excellent routes Jan will develop.
