About Me

This will be my eleventh year teaching elementary students. I graduated from the University of North Georgia with honors in 2008. There, I received my bachelor's degree in early childhood and special education along with a reading endorsement. I taught in Hall County my first 9 years in education. I spent 7 years in special education before being asked to teach 5th grade. College brought my to North Georgia, but at this point, I was traveling south every weekend to spend time with family. Thankfully, the door was opened for me move south. This is my second year in 4th grade and Coweta County. Being one of six, I am thrilled to be closer to my large family.

Loving, encouraging, and teaching children is a passion of mine that I do not take lightly. I believe all children have value and deserve a good education. When working with students, I am always considering their life beyond elementary school and strive to instill in them their worth and because of that confidence, they are able to communicate and get along with others enjoyably and respectfully along with making sure they have an appropriate, necessary education.
