The Coweta County School System has partnered with Grace Harbour to provide counseling services in our buildings for students who are struggling with emotional and mental health. Eligible students have Medicaid insurance (Peachstate, Amerigroup, Wellcare, Cenpatico, Caresource). Parents must also give permission for school based counseling which is provided by a master's level therapist in each of our schools at least one day a week.
Kate's Club is a support group open to all children and teens, age 5-18, who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, or primary caregiver at some point in their lifetime. In collaboration with Abby’s Angels, a Coweta-based non-profit, Kate’s Club is now offering a 6 week support group in our schools for students. They also offer social and therapeutic programming locally for families experiencing life after the death of a parent, primary caregiver or sibling.
Backpack Buddies provides food for the weekends and extended breaks from school for students that may need a little extra to help get them through from Friday at lunch until Monday morning at breakfast.
Abby's Angels Foundation
is a non-profit organization that offers school supplies to students.
