I'm Kaitlin Pruitt and I'm a freshman at Northgate High School. The reason I took video production is because I fell in love with it in 8th grade, and I found I had a talent for editing. I want to learn more about making videos, share my ideas of life, and make something that is entertaining. In the future, after taking the classes and internships, I want to become a producer, director, and animator of cartoons that drive these new comedy shows into the ground. I want to bring back adventure, curiosity, and clever puns into our television, along with one thing that movies and shows have been lacking in recently… creativity and imagination.
I'm Saxon LeFebvre and I'm a junior at Northgate High School. I joined AVTF to learn how to express my stories through film. A story told through film versus a story told through pen & paper is much different and is made more exciting and more interesting through film. I believe emphasis can be shown better through film to your audience as they can see exactly what you meant to happen rather than giving their interpretation based on loose descriptions on paper. I hope this class will be the start of something bigger: me learning to become a producer.
I'm Marimar Rameriz Fernandez and I'm a junior at East Coweta High School. I joined this class mostly to get a general idea of what the film industry was like. I am an avid writer, but I have been interested in seeing how stories are told with a camera. I plan on using the knowledge I learn from this class to use for personal side projects; I have many siblings who have many creative ideas and I would love to help them film their stories properly.
