COWETA COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM
All requests for student placements in Coweta County Schools must be submitted by a college/university representative at the district level, not at the individual school level.
Coweta County does not place students over the summer, and
no request for the current school year will be accepted after March 1st.
Please allow six weeks for a request to be approved and accepted once all paperwork has been received from both parties.
The college representative will be contacted by email or phone once the placement has been assigned, and is responsible for relaying the placement information to the student.
The CCSS Placement Agreement (MOU) between a College/University and the Coweta County School System must be on file before a request for placement will be considered. To confirm or request an MOU, please email collegeplacements@cowetaschools.net
College/University representatives should complete this form on behalf of a student requesting placement in a CCSS School.
Before being approved for placement, each student must obtain and submit a criminal background check from their local Sheriff/Police station. A current Ga PSC Clearance Certificate fulfills this requirement. Documents required for placement may be emailed to collegeplacements@cowetaschools.net
