Each day there are different tasks, but please feel free to visit this page as many times as you would like to learn more about our courses, teachers, graduation requirements, pathway completion options, and more about what is possible in your four years here at Valhalla!

Explore and plan your courses by doing the following:

Watch the Registration Videos slideshow embedded just below. Explore the course offerings at Valhalla, meet the teachers who teach them, and learn about the courses
Plan your courses on the organizer provided below. Make sure you pick at least three or four electives (plus alternates!), you will register for them tomorrow!
Check pathways using the document below, and choose courses that complete a pathway you are interested in

Please reference this list of courses and pathways that are available at CEC. Students can select these classes, and counselors will help check for prerequisites in one on one meetings later.

Assignment for Viking Time

Register for your courses on Infinite Campus:

Watch the Registration video embedded just below for step by step directions on how to register. The slides from the video are posted just beneath it. Follow the directions and the screenshots.
Use your graduation organizer from yesterday to register for your electives. Make sure you register for enough electives to hit eight courses for the year, and select three alternate electives. These can and do include AP classes that are not core requirements.
Check your academic courses in Infinite Campus, and use your organizer to make note of if you want to change to an Advanced or AP Option.
If you need to look at sample organizers and course lists, then scroll up and continue to use these registration resources.
At the end of Viking Time, make sure you have submitted your requests for registration and have a 100%.
Tomorrow, your teacher will check to make sure you have registered for enough courses.

Check your registration with the checklist below. You will finalize your registration with your counselor when you meet with them:

Registration Checklist (7 Steps)

1. Log into Infinite Campus

2. Go to Course Registration (See January 30th resources above)

3. Confirm that you have registered for enough electives to have 8 courses for the year

4. Confirm that you have selected at least 3 alternate electives just in case you cannot get one or more of your top choices

5. Make notes on your graduation organizer for what AP, advanced, or other career options (like CEC/Dual Enrollment) you would like to talk to your counselor about in person (See January 29th resources above)

6. Make sure you see 100% at the top of your Course Registration page on IC

7. Show your Viking Time Teacher for confirmation
