The Coventry Teachers’ Alliance Scholarship Fund was established with the goal of helping the seniors of Coventry High School further their education. In 2025, the committee awarded 141 scholarships totaling $125,000. Over the years the CTA has presented thousands of awards and over two million dollars to CHS seniors.
The success of this fund would not be possible without the generous contributions of our donors, who include local residents and businesses. The Coventry Teachers’ Alliance matches all donations through bi-weekly contributions from active and retired employees of the Coventry Public Schools.
Scholarship Qualifications: All currently enrolled Coventry High School seniors who will be pursuing post-secondary education from an accredited technical/trade school, a community college, a college, or a university are eligible to apply for a CTA Scholarship of at least $500. To be eligible for a scholarship of $1,000 or higher the applicant must have a minimum weighted grade point average of 3.900 after the first seven semesters of high school.
To apply, please complete the attached application and email it to Mrs. Tracy (email on application) by February 13, 2026. Failure to submit your application by the deadline may disqualify you from the scholarship. Applications must be sent to the email on the application.
We encourage all seniors pursuing any kind of post-secondary education and/or training to apply for this scholarship.
