CourtMotion
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 24, 2026
Last Updated: April 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how CourtMotion (“CourtMotion,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the CourtMotion mobile application, website, and related services (the “Service”).
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Service.
2. Information We Collect
A. Information you provide
Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:
account information such as name, email address, or login credentials,
support communications you send us,
feedback, bug reports, or survey responses, and
subscription or account identifiers needed to provide paid access.
B. Video and analysis content
CourtMotion is designed to analyze user-selected sports video content. Video files and analyses are processed and stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to CourtMotion’s servers. If a future feature requires off-device processing, we will update this Privacy Policy and notify you before any upload occurs.
C. Automatically collected information
We may collect limited technical information such as:
device type,
operating system,
app version,
crash logs,
diagnostic information,
usage events, and
approximate subscription or access state.
D. Information from third parties
If we use third-party services such as Apple, analytics providers, or crash reporting providers, we may receive information from those services, such as:
purchase status,
subscription entitlement information,
transaction-related identifiers,
device or app instance identifiers, and
support or analytics data.
3. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service,
enable subscriptions and paid features,
verify access rights and entitlements,
save user settings and app preferences,
analyze performance, bugs, and reliability,
respond to support requests,
protect the Service, users, and third parties,
enforce our Terms,
comply with law, and
investigate misuse, abuse, fraud, or security incidents.
4. User Content and Responsibility
You are responsible for the content you choose to record, import, analyze, export, or share using the Service. You must ensure that you have all rights, permissions, and legally required consents to use that content. We are not responsible for your decision to record others or for unlawful, unauthorized, or harmful content provided by users.
5. No Public Feed
CourtMotion does not provide an in-app public posting, public profile, or public video-sharing feed. If you export or share content outside the Service, that sharing is controlled by you and by the third-party service you use.
6. How We Share Information
We may share information:
with service providers that help us operate the Service,
with platform providers such as Apple in connection with billing or app functionality,
with vendors that provide subscription management, analytics, diagnostics, hosting, authentication, customer support, or security services,
when required by law or legal process,
to protect rights, safety, and security,
in connection with a merger, sale, financing, or acquisition, or
with your consent or at your direction.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
7. Subscription and Payment Information
If you make a purchase through Apple’s in-app purchase system, Apple processes your payment information. We do not receive your full payment card details from Apple. We may use subscription management services to determine what features you can access based on your entitlement status.
8. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:
provide the Service,
comply with legal obligations,
resolve disputes,
enforce agreements, and
maintain security and business records.
Because video content is stored only locally on your device, retention of that content is primarily controlled by your own device actions, such as deleting the app, deleting files, or exporting content elsewhere.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission, storage, or security is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
CourtMotion is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate authorization where required by law. If you believe a child provided personal information without authorization, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
11. Your Choices
Depending on your location and our current features, you may be able to:
access, update, or delete certain account information,
manage subscription settings through Apple,
control permissions such as Photos or camera access through your device settings, and
request deletion of certain data by contacting us.
If you use third-party services such as Apple to sign in or subscribe, you may also need to manage some information through those providers.
12. International Users
If you use the Service outside the United States, your information may be processed in jurisdictions that may have different data-protection laws.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
