“Moving Memory of the City of Arlon” is a unique journey through time, where artificial intelligence brings old photographs and postcards of the city of Arlon back to life. For approximately five minutes, the viewer is immersed in the streets, squares, and atmosphere of Arlon at the beginning of the 20th century. The carefully selected archival images no longer remain static: faces blink, passersby move subtly, and scenes come to life with disturbing realism, as if the past had suddenly caught its breath.

The video alternates between poetic still shots, dynamic tracking shots, and aerial views, revealing details of facades, markets, military uniforms, and children leaving school. A voiceover accompanies these images, recounting the history of the city, its iconic landmarks, and the daily lives of its inhabitants at that time. “Moving Memory” is not just a documentary: it's a sensory and emotional experience, where each postcard becomes a half-open window onto a vanished world, brought to life by new technologies. A vibrant tribute to the memory of Arlon and those who lived there.

“Mémoire en mouvement sur la ville d'Arlon” est un voyage unique dans le temps, où l’intelligence artificielle redonne vie aux photographies et cartes postales anciennes de la ville d’Arlon. Pendant environ cinq minutes, le spectateur est plongé dans les rues, les places et les ambiances d’Arlon au début du XXe siècle. Les images d’archives, soigneusement sélectionnées, ne restent plus figées : les visages clignent des yeux, les passants bougent subtilement, les scènes s’animent avec un réalisme troublant, comme si le passé reprenait soudain son souffle. La vidéo alterne entre plans fixes poétiques, travelling dynamiques, et vues aériennes, révélant les détails des façades, des marchés, des uniformes militaires ou des enfants sortant de l’école. Une voix off accompagne ces images, racontant l’histoire de la ville, ses lieux emblématiques, et la vie quotidienne de ses habitants à cette époque. “Mémoire en mouvement"  n’est pas seulement un documentaire : c’est une expérience sensorielle et émotionnelle, où chaque carte postale devient une fenêtre entrouverte sur un monde disparu, animée grâce aux nouvelles technologies.
