La caméra macro 3D parcourt différents espaces aveugles oscillant entre bunker et club. On y croise des mantes religieuses et des phasmes de taille humaine, sans sexe identifiable. « Club Bunker » évoque un souvenir hallucinatoire, où résonne toujours un danger aigu.

The macro 3D camera roams through different windowless spaces that oscillate between bunker and club architecture. There one encounters human-sized praying mantises and stick insects with no determinable sex. "Club Bunker" has traits of a hallucinatory memory, in which an acute danger always resonates.

Dans un musée, de nos jours. Un diorama représente deux jeunes soldats dans les tranchées. Soudain, nous sommes projetés à l’intérieur du diorama : les soldats figés s’animent, la terreur se lit sur leur visage – la caméra danse autour d’eux – explosions, chaos, brouillard : tout voltige dans les airs. À chaque tir, ils tressaillent et se recroquevillent sur eux-mêmes.
À travers son approche chorégraphique de l’animation, Uncanny Valley questionne la représentation de cette réalité terrible, et réactualise la mémoire des tranchées dans un langage audiovisuel contemporain.

In a museum, today. A diorama depicts two young soldiers in the trenches. Suddenly, we are projected inside the diorama: the frozen soldiers come to life, terror evident on their faces—the camera dances around them—explosions, chaos, fog: everything flutters in the air. With each shot, they flinch and curl up.
Through its choreographic approach to animation, Uncanny Valley questions the representation of this terrible reality and re-enacts the memory of the trenches in a contemporary audiovisual language.
